Priya’s heritage comes from a strong family tradition of hospitality and cooking for others.
The heart of the Indian home is the kitchen and food plays an integral part in family life. Our enthusiasm for cooking Indian food has led us to share this passion with you.
As you will discover from our food, we do things a little differently at Priya. Our intention is not to reinvent the dishes that have become well-loved favourites, but instead, by revisiting our culinary roots, bring you the flavours of the real India.
Many of the starters included in our menu originate from the famous street foods of India. These delicious treats are served by skilled vendors to the patiently waiting crowds in the hustle and bustle of city life.
In particular, our golden onion bhaji and crisp vegetable pakoras burst with flavour, delight the palate and satisfy the soul.
Our Kitchen
Based in the Scottish Borders town of Earlston, our custom designed commercial kitchen is where we prepare and cook our mouth-watering meals. Our kitchen provides generous space which allows our chefs to cater for large parties and a variety of functions.
