Employees at a shop on Avenida Libertad and Misiones managed to spot a supposed customer who entered the premises, moved between the shelves and, without making any purchase, left with at least one bottle of Fernet which, as can be seen in the images, he was hiding under his clothes.
The security cameras installed in the store and the watchful eye of the staff made it possible to detect the situation. Added to this was the courage of the employees who, alerted to the theft, moved to the door to locate the thief and demand that he hand over the merchandise he had not paid for.
‘Give back what you took without paying for,’ said one of the girls, who found him as he was getting into his car and preparing to leave with his ‘booty’: a bottle of premium brand fernet.
The employee confronted him with her mobile phone turned on, recording a video of the complaint and the reaction of the person who had committed the crime. Finally, publicly exposed, he responded to the employee’s complaint.
